I've always loved animals, and especially sea creatures! I'm so excited to paint some of my favorites with you in this watercolor class!
This class is all online and has been prerecorded. You take the lessons at your own pace and have the option to pause, rewind, and redo any sections you'd like. You have unlimited access to the course, and access will not expire.
The class is broken down into projects. Each one is its own contained lesson and they can all be completed individually, so if you don't have time to do the whole course at once, you can choose the lesson that works for you for that day and come back for the rest!

Is this class right for you?
In this class, I walk you through every step of the painting process with real time tutorials that are easy to follow. However, this class does not go over the basics of watercolor, so if you are looking for a class on fundamentals, you may want to start with my Watercolor Essentials class. That being said, I do believe the instructions in this class are complete enough to enable even beginner painters to complete the projects and create paintings that will make you super proud!
If you're worried about the drawing part, Don't! I will show you how to draw everything, and I provide reference photos and line drawings for most lessons. I even show you how to transfer line drawings to watercolor paper.

Start Simply
I'll show you how to start with simple shapes, reference photos, and line drawings to create the foundation for amazing sea creatures!
Add Details
We'll add details like highlights, shadows, and different backgrounds to give your paintings depth and interest!
Make Magic
I'll show you ways to use color, contrast, and dimension to help bring your animals to life and add extra magic to your work!

- Watercolor paint
- Watercolor paper - Canson watercolor paper 12x9
- Size6, 8, and 10 round brushes
- 1 inch flat brush
- Fineline pen in size 0.5
- White gel pen
- White Posca Paint Marker

- Tape
- Something to tape your paper to - I use an art board
